Broughton Transport at Cross Hands
Based in Melksham, Wiltshire, Broughton Transport Solutions are a UK and International haulage company carrying out ambient, pallet and temperature controlled transport. The business was begun in 1866 by James Mortimer and his wife Amelia who grew vegetables then sold them in Broughton Gifford, Wiltshire. The Haulage company D Mortimer came into play in the 1920's. The Eat More Chips slogan came about from the import of chips from Holland in the 80's. The company partly shut down around 15 years ago then relaunched as Broughton Transport Solutions in 2013 and today operate a mixed fleet of around 70 trucks including this Scania S650 with BTS registration.
