MSC (Mediterranean Shipping Company)

Mediterranean Shipping Company S.A. is an international shipping line founded by Gianluigi Aponte in Italy in 1970 and headquartered in Switzerland since 1978. This privately held company is owned by the Aponte family. It's UK arm is based in Ipswich operating to 12 ports across the UK, the widest range offered by any shipping line, providing 25 weekly deep-sea calls. Their UK Container Transport fleet are based in Felixstowe, Bootle and Coatbridge operating a fleet from most manufacturers and display fleet numbers.
