DFDS buys McBurney Transport

Ballymena based McBurney Transport has been sold to Danish Company DFDS for £143m, This family run and well known haulier was founded in 1965 by Norman McBurney OBE, They expanded to have a fleet of around 350 trucks and depots in Cairnryan, Dublin, Larne, Liverpool, Heysham and Penrith. Lets hope that the company identity is retained under DFDS ownership.
