J R ADAMS

Based in Newcastle upon Tyne, J R Adams started in the early 1930’s. The founder of the company Jakey Adams as he was known started with a horse and cart in the East End of Newcastle. By the Mid 30’s the horse was replaced with a Model T Ford. Jakey was off and running. Currently they operate around fifty vehicles from depots in Gateshead and Byker.
