Wood & Co - E E Spencer

Based in Markfield, Leicester Wood & Co trading as E E Spencer which stems from Eric Spencer starting his haulage company in 1930 with his brother Wilf delivering coal from Whitwick pit with a Model T Ford, and in the 1980's the Leicester based Coal Merchants Wood & Co (Leicester) Ltd. Today they run a fleet of 20 aggregate bodied articulated tipper vehicles delivering stone aggregate, coal & recycled glass.
