Edge Transport

Edge Transport was founded in 1933. Alfred Edge started as an owner driver distributing goods for the Army during the war and afterwards started to provide long distance haulage to Chester businesses. In the early 1960’s Alfred’s son, Peter Edge, took over the company’s continued expansion resulting in a relocation from Chester to Llay Industrial Estate.

The business continued to go from strength to strength and developed a reputation for high quality distribution services across the North West and North Wales.
