Billy Bowie
In 1991 Billy Bowie started with this one lorry helping them along the way in developing a fleet of over 100 vehicles and specialising in waste management solutions, vacuum tanker technology, jet/vac combination units, skips, drainage and sewer cleaning.
In 2000 Billy Bowie moved to Moorfield Ind Est, and also has depots in Widnes and Sheffield.
The Ford D series was intoduced in 1965 to replace the Thames Trader and as a competitor to the Bedford TK with the advantage of a tilt cab. The range expanded with the arrival of the D1000 in 1967 with gross weights up to 24 tons. The D series was replaced by the Ford Cargo in 1981.
