G.D. Harries

Established as a small haulage and plant hire operator by Gerald and Valerie Harries in 1977, GD Harries is now owned and managed by their son, Ian.

With the acquisition of our six quarries, plus asphalt and concrete production, the company has grown to become one of Wales’s largest independent suppliers of aggregates and a civil engineering company capable of delivering multimillion pound infrastructure projects. Our maroon and yellow lorries are a regular feature of the West Wales landscape.

Despite its expansion, GD Harries remains a hands-on family-run business with a commitment to safety and sustainability. We invest in the local workforce and local suppliers and pride ourselves on our technical expertise, customer service and the highest levels of quality. We are accredited by the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Quality and Environmental Management Standards.
