Passing of Lorryspotting Founder John Martin

It is with a heavy heart that the Lorryspotting team have been informed of the very sad news that our founder, John Martin, sadly passed away in the early hours of this morning after a bravely fought battle with cancer.

Although I've only been the owner of the site for just under a year, my association with Lorryspotting goes back 17 years when I first came to know John when the site was on it's former platform to what it is today. On a personal level, I will forever remain indebted to John who offered to take over the business when his health began to deteriorate last year and very much hope, alongside the update team, that we will uphold the legacy that he left behind in creating this fantastic resource over the last two decades.

We extend our deepest sympathies and condolences to John's wife Vanessa and his two children - Will and Verity. Any further information regarding arrangements will follow in accordance with the family's wishes.
