Kings Heavy Haulage good transport news!

Bristol based Kings Heavy Haulage, a family run business celebrated 40 years serving the transport industry last weekend. Two new Volvo FH Globetrotters were purchased and ‘vinyl wrapped’ in balloons and banners – a break from their traditional livery, to celebrate the milestone.

Richard King purchased his first truck in April 1969 and grew the business over the years to a fleet of 20 vehicles. Richard’s son Steve King took the driving seat as Managing Director a few years ago and has developed the business further transporting general and abnormal loads around the UK and Europe.

A celebration party was held last Saturday at The Bristol Golf Club for staff in the form of a Hawaiian evening. All joined in the spirit of fancy dress and enjoyed a steel drum band and Silver Surfer inflatable ride along with a Hawaiian menu and cocktails.
