Welsh Truck Show 13th July

The Show is happening at Carmarthen Showground this Sunday 13th July 2008. Ticket Prices are only £4 adult and £2 children. Hopefully attending are LS.com fleets Owens, Mansel Davies, M&M Greene, DAJ Evans, WF Hall and AE Gough. Expected are over 300 commercial vehicles and at least a couple of hopeful additions to LS.com.

How the Show Started

The idea for a Truck Show for Wales had been discussed by owners and drivers at other truck shows or transport festivals for many years. In September 2006, Alan Greene of M&M Greene (bored at home, recovering from a operation) took the bull by the horns, booked the Carmarthen Showground and started contacting others who he knew had an interest to form a Committee and move the project forward. It's amazing what you can do over the phone when your leg's in plaster!!

In its first year over £7,000 was raised for charitable causes such as local hospital and air ambulance. Attached is a photo of Jason Williams Scania that won Best at Show last year.
