LS member and wife given prestigious award

Trevor Fairhurst is a member of Lorryspotting and was recently presented with a very prestigious award at the Manchester Heroes awards 2008. Their daughter died in February 2006 as a result of domestic violence from her boyfriend. Carly would have been 21 in April 2008.Trevor and Sheila have since channeled their energies into supporting the endangered counselling services provided by Wigan Victim Support and Witness Service which were so helpful to them in the aftermath of their bereavement. They have already raised more than £17,000.
