Berliet weren't they Renault ?

Berliet started life in France in 1894 and continued to manufacture commercial vehicles up until 1967 when they were taken over by Citroen who were themselves wholly owned by Michelin. Following the oil crisis of 1973 Michelin decided to sell Berliet to Saviem and the merged company became RVI (Renault Véhicules Industriels), whilst Citroen was sold to Peugeot.
