Charity truck for Elddis

Elddis Transport from Consett in County Durham have celebrated the purchase of their 250th Actros by launching a project to raise funds for our local Hospice – Willow Burn.Willow Burn was opened in 1989 and offers a range of generalist palliative care services for patients with life limiting illness provided by dedicated staff and tireless volunteers.

The vehicle will go on the road on 1st July with the number plate W111 OWH and Elddis have pledged to give 15 pence for every mile the vehicle covers over the next 3 years. The target is to raise £50,000 for the deserving cause.www.trucking4willowburn.co.uk
