New acquisition for Bowring Group

Nottinghamshire based Bowring Transport has announced the acquisition of Whitkirk Waste Solutions to complement its existing road haulage operation.

Whitkirk is based at Easingwold, North Yorkshire and specialises in removing food and drink industry waste for re-cycling onto the land, as well as the moving of hazardous waste such as solvents, secondary fuels and acids.

It undertakes work for some of the waste industry’s major companies and, with Bowring’s investment, intends to develop its services to existing customers by diversifying into new areas of waste management; whilst further growing its customer base through investment and structured expansion.
