ESL Fleet investment tops £23 million in 9 months

2006 has been another significant period of investment for the UK’s largest independent logistics firm, Eddie Stobart Ltd.

With 21 new tractor units scheduled to hit the road in September, it brings this year’s total of new additions to almost 300.

It is the recent contract wins, along with our commitment to continue modernising our fleet that has led to these new vehicle additions. The 2006 fleet represent many different manufacturers but Volvo provide the vast majority with the FH Globetrotter.

By the end of September, over 300 new trailers will also have been added to the fleet in just 9 months, the vast majority being CT, TCT and TET curtainsiders from our preferred supplier; SDC Trailers.
